heading to melbourne tonight, and amoungst all the packing and craziness (LOVE) I just wanted to let you all know that I probably won't be on here for the next few days, but when I get back I will have a lot to share..

yesss... it is so cold today. and the countdown is on.. 3 days till melbourne.
I cannot wait to go. I swear, I was born to be a jetsetter. I love travel, airplanes, packing, unpacking, hotels.. the whole bit! :]

I have decided to teach myself to knit, so I can make my own sweaters and knit vests and whatnot, and I have started with a scarf (because I hear that is relatively easy) but it is going to take FOREVER!! seriously, i don't know what I am doing!!

I am also bleaching some cool patterns into some of my shirts today and painting an old pair of Converse All Stars pink and putting sequins on them, because really, doesn't everyone need some pink footwear... i'll post pictures when they are done.

Anyway, since this is kind of a boring post, I will leave you with some pictures from one of my FAVOURITE shows of fashion week - so far - Emanuel Ungaro. EXQUISITE!! I love everything.. the fabrics, the construction of the dresses, especially the last 2 ... and the sheer fabrics and knits too... oh my gosh, I am head over heels.

Ok, so - like everyone who is not fortunate enough to live in paris - I have been obsessively following the reports from FW, and I had to post about one of my fav's, Balmain.

Ok, so I am biased by my already asserted love for this label, but i love every part of this collection. I love the tough studded jackets and pants, the sequins, metallics... perfect. The second dress is to die for. I love the girly frills with the tough leather. Gorgeous!! and the white blazer... I need!! so amazing!

And - in keeping with my winter obsession - I really want some interesting tights, not just the one's you see in stores every season.. so here is my inspiration.

ok, so I know I haven't updated for a few days, and I am really wanting to be a good, committed blogger, so this post is going to be good.

I found these shoes in Nine West the other day, and they are like, 400 dollars, but I must have them. I can't decided which ones I love more though. any help??












Also, I am so excited!! It is my BFF's birthday in a week, and we are going to Melbourne for the weekend. Melbourne is the fashion capital of Australia, and I am buzzing right now at the thought of all the wonderful shopping I am going to be able to do!!
I promise I will take the camera and get some amazing shots for everyone!

fashion inspiration

I think I am in love with Rosie Tupper. She is an Australian model, and completely gorgeous. And I pretty much want to wear anything she has ever worn.

also, predictably, we have not had a cool day here since I got all excited about the cool weather. I think I have jinxed it!! :[ So I have not got to wear any of my wonderful winter woolies!
I covet the life of anyone who can see snow right now!

It is the 2nd of March here, which means it has been officially Autumn (fall) for 2 days, but today is actually cooler. I hate the heat, and love to layer, so the hot hot summer has been killing me.
